Mrs. Marlow Dozier Cochran, a resident of Valley, AL, passed on  Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Bethany House Hospice, Auburn, AL.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (EST) from Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1512 River Road, Valley, AL with Pastor Robert L. Carter, Officiant/Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Valley, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing. There will be no public viewing.

Funeral Services by Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley.

Mrs. Radean Walls Poole, 59 of Daviston, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her residence. Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 2:00PM CST until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lafayette, AL. Mrs. Poole will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, 1:00 PM CST at Leander Baptist Church, Daviston, AL. Pastor James Whetstone, Officiating. Interment will follow funeral service in church cemetery. Born on July 27, 1939, in Langdale, Alabama, Kathy was full of love and joy throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her. She departed from this world in Opelika, Alabama. Kathy's life was one of devotion and laughter, marked by her enduring love for her husband of 48 years, James Widner. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and shared dreams. Kathy's spirit lives on through her daughter, Christy Widner, and her beloved grandchildren, Jamie Widner, Justin Mims, and Brandon Chatman (Haley).
