Margaret Ann Ennis Obituary

Margaret Ann Ennis, known affectionately as Margaret to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, in LaGrange, Georgia. Born on September 10, 1935, in Lafayette, Alabama, Margaret's life was a testament to love, kindness, and generosity.

Margaret's journey as a devoted military spouse took her on adventures across the globe for twenty years, yet her heart always remained anchored in the love for her family. She was a voracious reader who found solace and joy in the pages of countless books. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a faithful member of Shawmut Baptist Church, where her warm hugs on Sunday mornings will be dearly missed.

Margaret's culinary skills, especially her renowned pound cake, brought comfort and delight to many. She leaves behind a legacy of nurturing and warmth, survived by her loving son Michael R. Sellers of Papillion, Nebraska, and her sister Marilyn Suttles of Valley, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father W.C. McKee, her mother Mildred Evelyn Shivers, her sisters Louise and Brenda, and her son Tommy G. Sellers.

Margaret's life was a beautiful portrait of the love she bestowed upon all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories and traditions she lovingly passed down.
