Mr. Antwurn R. Calloway “Red”, 49 of LaFayette, AL formerly of Atlanta, GA passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Mr. Calloway will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, 3:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Gary L. Dixon, Pastor / Officiating, Rev. Shandor Calloway, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving father and stepmother, Aaron and Margaret Calloway of Lithonia, GA, a stepfather, Bobby Peters (late Mary) of Atlanta, GA, his brothers, Willie Todd and Travis Calloway, his sisters, Tanish Calloway (J. Trent) and Cassandra Moore (Stacy), all of Atlanta, GA, his grandmother, Annie G. Hughley of LaFayette, AL, his special sisters, RoShelle Holloway Pitts (Lee) of Helena, AL and Trena Holloway of Atlanta, GA, he also leaves behind, a special aunt, Lucille Holloway of Atlanta, GA (Larry Ray – Lafayette, AL), aunts: Ollian Smith (Kenneth) of Atlanta, GA, Mary L. Calloway, Pamela Ray (Calvin), and Gloria Calloway, all of LaFayette, AL, uncles, Bobby Calloway of Opelika, AL and Rev. Dr. Stanley Calloway of Atlanta, GA, four nieces: Kaycee Moore, Kaija Hughley, Jessica Smith, and Tatia Young, two nephews: Ja’Darrius Calloway and Dre Shawn Carwell, and his best friends, Teddy Williams and Deborah Griffin, a host of cousins and friends.
