Estella McCulloh Davis was born April 18, 1934 to Mr. John McCulloh and Mrs. Minnie Pearl Griffin McCulloh of Lee County, Alabama.

Mrs. Davis confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Reverend R. C. Gates. She worked faithfully as a member of the Missionary Society, with other auxiliaries of the church, and served as President of the Pastor’s Aide.
